Jonathan Hornsby
Jonathan is a graduate of Radford University with a major in Athletic Training. He grew up in the WYCC Jr. Sailing Program and has held the positions of Assistant and Head Jr. Sailing Instructor. His sailing resume includes completion of the USSailing Small Boat Instructor course, one-design racing with the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association as well as "big boat" ocean cruising. In addtion, Johathan is certified in CPR, First Aid and holds a Virginia Boating License. |

Cole Brundage Cole has completed his first year of studies at Roanoke College where he is majoring in Business. Cole is certified in CPR and he has also completed a boating safety course and holds a Virginia Boating License. He was a participant in the Yacht Club’s Junior Sailing program for 3 years and participated in HRA’s Varsity Sailing team for 2 years. He has also been an instructor for the Yacht club Junior Sailing program last two years. |

Claire Hunnicutt Claire is 17 years old, has just graduated from Kecoughtan High School, and will be attending Virginia Tech in the Fall. She began sailing at 8 years old at Hampton Yacht Club and served as an instructor there for two years before transferring to the Warwick Yacht Club. She has particiapted in many sailing regattas in Opti's, 420's, and Laser's, including the Governor's Cup, the Hampton Yacht Club Annual Regatta, and the Opti Nationals at Norfolk Yacht and Country Club. This is her third summer as a Junior Sailing Instructor at WYCC. Claire has been involved in many clubs and sports at Kecoughtan, including the National Honor Society, Keyettes, Spanish Club, field hockey, and soccer. Claire has her CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and also holds a Virginia Boating License. |
