Head Coach Morgan Warthan: Morgan just finished her freshman year at the College of Charleston. She graduated from Peninsula Catholic High School where she was actively involved in student government, National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and was captain of the tennis and swim team. Coast Guard Blue Dolphins was Morgan's year round team since she was 9 years old and she coached York County Special Olympics swim team her last 3 years in high school. Over the past 4 years, she has been both a volunteer and assistant coach for the WYCC Sea Turtles. She hopes to pursue a career in the medical field after college. |

Assistant Coach Zach Garner: Zach was born on January 14, 1993 in Newport News, VA where he resides with his parents, Tommy and Chrissy, and older sister Lauren. Zach attended Hidenwood Preschool, St. Andrew’s Episcopal School (K-5), Hampton Roads Academy (6-9), and currently attends Menchville High School, where he is a junior. He has played JV Soccer (6-9), JV Basketball (6-9), MS, JV and Varsity Lacrosse (6-present), and is on the Varsity Swim team (7-present). He swam for the Coast Guard Blue Dolphins and Typhoons for 5 years, played club soccer for 6 years, participated in junior sailing at WYCC for 5 years, and has completed the Coast Guard boating safety course and has his VA boating license. His school activities include; Spanish Club, Every 15 Minutes, BIGMAC, Young Life, Leadership Institute, SADD, Operation Smile, Homecoming Float Committee, and he is the co-captain of the lacrosse team. He is a member of JRCC and WYCC, where his family has been a member since before he was born! He has been a member of the Sea Turtles swim team since he was four years old and has coached the team as both a volunteer and as an assistant. In his spare time Zach enjoys hanging out with friends and playing lacrosse, hockey, basketball and video games. He also volunteers at the Boys and Girls Club and has accumulated over 125 hours of community service. |

Assistant Coach Hunter Webster: Hunter is a rising junior at Menchville High School. He has been a member of the WYCC swim team for 5 consecutive seasons and has been a lifeguard at WYCC for 2 years. He enjoys sports and has been on the Menchville High School Varsity Swim Team for the past 2 years and has played Baseball for Menchville for the past 3 years. This past year Hunter was the captain of the Menchville High School Varsity Volleyball Team. |

Assistant Coach Danielle Verbeck: Danielle is a rising senior at Menchville High School. She has been a member of the WYCC Swim Team for 8 years and this is her 3rd year as a volunteer assistant. She previously swam for the Coast Guard Blue Dolphins and currently swims for Menchville High School. In addition to assisting the swim team, Dani also works at Bo Essentials Towne Center, Dominion Floor Covering, and lifeguards at WYCC. She resides in Newport News, along with her sister Jordan.

Assistant Coach Isabelle Keegan: Isabelle is a rising senior at Peninsula Catholic High School. She has been active on the Track and Swim team at Peninsula Catholic, is Captain of the Cross Country Team, and is a member of the National Honor Society. In her spare time she enjoys art, piano and literature. Along with volunteering for her church and area schools, she was awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Award and is currently a member of the Youth Volunteer Corp of Hampton Roads. She has been a member of WYCC Sea Turtles for 5 years and this is her 4th year assisting the coaches. She enjoys instructing the younger swimmers and has provided swim lessons in the past for the team. Isabelle grew up swimming for the Hidenwood Tarpons and Coast Guard Blue Dolphins. She is certified in CPR and Lifeguarding. Go Sea Turtles! |
